Beholgar is a classically styled 2D Metroidvania, explore caverns, ancient woods, deadly castles, battle creatures, solve ancient mysteries.

FAN ART

Very nostalgic vibes is very cool.

Enemies are cool as all have own and own attacks to learn in order to beat.

Items that you can find and buy are cool as all have own look and uses.

Characters that you meet all have own look and own personality to them.

Old school difficulty where you will die alot.

Nice retro art style reminds me of a snes game which is cool.

Easy pick up and play is nice as not mega complex not loads of buttons or skills to remember.

No map in levels made me feel often lost and not sure where to go.

Challenging as you die often from both combat and exploration which can be annoying.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall has very nostalgic vibes with cool enemies, items, characters you meet are cool as have own personality to them and is easy to pick up and play with a retro art style and old school difficulty. However for £7.99, has no map in levels made me feel lost and not sure where to go and is a challenging game where you will die alot especially during platforming sections which can be annoying.
