FROGUE REVIEW

This is released in the UK on the 27/06/2024 and in the UK is priced at £3.99.

INTRODUCTION

FROGUE is a stylish turn based action platformer with bits of roguelite, bullet hell and time manipulation.

FEATURES

• Dash to avoid bullets and kill your enemies.
• Throw knifes to kill them at a distance.
• Out of options? No problem, freeze time and make your own solution!.

FAN ART

Enemies all have own look and all have own attacks to learn in order to beat them.

Combat is fun and different as time freezes until you move such as if a enemy shoots at you the game gives you time to move.

Easy to pick up and easy to play for everyone.

Power ups are all unique and all are fun as can change runs.

Cool pixel art style is nice and detailed easy to look at.

Very challenging game, easy to die as don’t have alot of health.

Easy to get stuck in corners or pinned in places where you will take damage can be frustrating.

No real story made me feel not connected with the character.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall enemies are cool as all have own attacks to learn and combat is fun and has a different way to move around and attack and has a easy pick up and playstyle to suit everyone and has cool power ups and a nice pixel art style that is detailed. However for £3.99, is a very challenging game where you die very easy and can get stuck in corners or in place and take damage which can be frustrating and no real story made me feel not connected with the character.

Enemies own look and attacks.
Combat is fun, different as turn - based movement.
Easy pick up and play for everyone.
Power - ups unique and fun.
Cool pixel art style is nice, detailed.  

Very challenging game, easy to die. 
Easy get stuck in spot, where you take damage.
No real story made me not feel connected with the character.
