The Aqua Kitty Cats have launched into space in an all new action RPG shoot-em-up adventure. Pick your crew,then blast off to investigate mysterious water filled asteroids, battle bizarre enemies, mine magnificent gems,grab new weapons install enhancing devices and unlock your crews unique skills as you level up xp. Just watch out for marauding pirate rabbits,always trying to be the first to the loot.

Bosses are unique with their own attacks and strategies to defeat them.

Maps are big and fun to explore and find chests containing weapons, devices to enhance your ship.

Tons of options to make your own build with weapons, enhancements you like even upgrade ship stats and use unique abilities based on the Pilots and Engineers you pick at start of the game.

CONS

Not alot of replay ability as once level complicated you can’t go back.

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9.0/10

Overall very fun full of content and options for hardcore to casual players loads of variety and build options but not alot of replay ability but very fun game.

Lots of upgrades for your characters such as new skills improve attack and defence.

Bosses are all unique in look and own strategies to defeat them.

CONS

Old school difficulty may annoy some as you die lots especially to boss fights.

Items that you can buy from shop when you die dont explain what they do or which are permanent or temporary.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 8.5/10

Overall is a challenging old school Metroidvania challenging when fighting bosses and not knowing which items you buy are permanent or temporary. But game is full of content,unique enemies,bosses, secrets,upgrades and a fun story with alot of replay ability.

Overall can be a grindy trying get gems,points to get unlocks and areas felt abit dull. But is a super fun game dull of content for the price and you get to hunt dinosaurs which is always so fun.

Nexus hub world was fun to explore and lets you unlock shops, new anomalies and more.

The variety of level layouts makes every run feel different and fresh.

Huge amount of options for difficulty perfect for all new and experienced players to the genre I enjoyed easy mode as fun.

Alot of content for the price and you can re-run older anomalies to farm and explore easyier areas.

CONS

Camera can be frustrating especially when avoiding traps.

Controls for your character in both combat,exploring can be a bit clunky and stiff.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall has some issues like camera and some clunky controls for combat,movement but is a very fun game that is full of content for the price and suitable for new players and experienced players to the rogue-like genre.

The graphics are awesome loved the hand drawn and very detailed art style.

The world was interesting and very fun to explore and find collectables,upgrades

Combat was not to complex to and very fun easy for all ages and all players.

The story was interesting from start to finish.

The puzzle elements were awesome and surprisingly challenging as dome later ones require alot of steps and timing to do.

The ability to control enemies to fight for you during combat or to explore and solve puzzles was original and refreshing very cool.

Upgrade menu is simple to understand and rewards you for exploration by finding resources you need to improve.

Enemy variety was impressive as all are unique in look,attacks,movement system.

There were so many easter eggs and all were awesome and great to find,nice touches.

CONS

Sometimes can be frustrating when trying to figure out puzzles and fights can be tricky if you control robots to help.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall has slight issue where puzzles maybe challenging and annoy some people and combat at first till you control robots but game has so much content and so fun to explore and play with a great story and fun combat.

Why is Flowing Lights different from other shooting games ? Puzzle elements: They offer a challenge for the brain on top of the immediate fun of destroying monsters. Flowing Lights was designed to be easy to learn but difficult to master. Each fight can be won with 4 levels of achievement C,B,A,S, S,A, only get by completing all combos.

FEATURES

* Puzzle elements for a varied,always fresh experience.

* Retro arcade gameplay: Smooth, Accurate challenging.

* Unique physics gameplay,gravity is the 3rd dimension.

* 200 Fights created with love,each one unique with optional challenges.

* Power ups,combos, ranks and online leaderboards for more replay ability.

Graphics are very cool with loads of bright neon colours and detail on environments.

Loads of enemies and all are unique in look and attacks.

Loads of challenges/levels there is 200 and all are different and interesting.

Alot of content for the price you can replay levels to try to get better scores and better place on leaderboards to try to beat your friends.

Very easy game to learn perfect for all ages and you can even change settings to help learn game mechanics.

When you fail levels/challenges you can just restart them and if you fail a couple of times you get buffs to help with the challenge.

The ship was very cool reminded me of a Manta Ray.

CONS

If you not trying get a “S” or “A” rank you can finish some of the challenges very fast.

Story didn’t grab me which made me feel not connected with the world.

Can be very frustrating while trying to figure out how to solve the challenges.

I was given a Xbox One code which I played on my Series X Code provided by Publisher Digerati @DigeratiDM and Developed by Brainwash Gang @Brainwash_Gang

This is released in the UK 07/05/2021 and in the UK priced £12.49.

INTRODUCTION

Nongunz is a nihilistic action – platformer roguelike, Obscure in both gameplay and theme,its a riddle that demands sacrifice. Rebuilt from the ground-up,the Doppelganger Edition is a remastered version of the Original,never previously released on console,and features two all new modes Arena,Local co-op.

FEATURES

* Unforgiving gameplay that challenge your skills,wits.

* Whole game is a riddle. Unveil mystery behind the nihilistic universe of Nongunz.

* Beautifully crafted black and white pixel world.

* Hundreds of levels plagued with dozens of enemies.

* Many weapons,items and equipment to master.

* Potential to change your perception about existence,violence,and mankind.

* New for the Doppelganger Edition! Survive an eternity of enemies in Arena mode,and join forces in Local co-op mode.

PROS

Art style is different but has a very retro style in a pixel world.

Loads of variety to enemies and all are unique in looks,attacks and movement style.

Bosses are all unique in look,movement style and how to defeat them.

Alot of content as loads of levels and weapons to try and chests to open cards to modify runs and more.

All weapons are different and have own style and feel.

Hardcore gameplay is very challenging this game old school difficulty does not hold your hands.

Card system gives health,temporary bonuses to damage and many more options that can change runs massively.

CONS

No real story made me feel not connected with the character or the world.

Game is very difficult and may annoy some people and not for casual,new players.

System menus,were confusing as nothing explained well and found audio loud even after lowered.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 7.0/10

Overall can be a frustrating game as very difficult and no explanation of cards or mechanics is confusing. But has alot of good ideas and is fun but game is suited to hardcore players nit so easy for casual/new players to the genre.
