INTRODUCTION

Galaxy Squad is a turn based tactical roguelike in which you are leading a squad of mercenaries through a randomly generated galaxy filled with different events. You can make your squad your way.

  • Upgrade your ship and use its system in events or in battles.
  • Explore space stations, find quests.
  • A well developed story campaign system, involving your characters and branching storylines.
  • Upgrade your equipment with different modifications and find rare loot.

Story is interesting from start to finish and enjoyable.

Characters you meet are all unique in look.

Lots of abilities to unlock giving you alot of options to make builds to suit your own playstyle.

Enemy variety is cool all unique in look attack patterns and abilities they use.

World/solar system is fun to explore as random everytime start all planets offering different resources to collect and enemies to fight.

Alot of content for your money offering multiple different games modes and more for the price of £8.39.

Lots of weapons, items to customize characters all unique offering own stats.

CONS

Camera is annoying as have to go to options to turn on camera free mode.

Clunky controls for movement, combat, levelling up menus.

Can be challenging as you cant freely explore may not be able to go back to the mission/quest to hand in some as there is a line that moves with you but sometimes can cause you to miss out on handing the quest in.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 7/10

Overall is a fun game with alot of options to build your own characters, story is fun. However camera and clunky controls hinder fun and is annoying when take quests as sometimes unable to hand them in as is a line that moves everytime you move to keep you going and stops you from goin back.

World is fun and very interesting to explore as all levels have own look and items, traps.

Story is great and kept me interested from start to finish.

Loads of skills to learn and ability to make own builds either in one tree or mixture is great as can make heroes built to your own playstyle.

Loads of gems with unique stats and offering own bonuses is great some offer positive and some other positive and negative you also can scrap gems for items which is great.

No permadeath or difficulty option makes game perfect for all types of players new and experienced to the genre who want a fun easier game.

You can replay levels to farm items to build/upgrade which is great as can farm to make more potions xp and even gems useful to help your heroes stronger.

Alot of content for your money as priced £16.74 very fun game.

CONS

Would have been nice if dialogue was voiced as alot of reading in cutscenes and story.

Game is not very challenging as no permadeath and no difficulty options some people might find it to easy.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall would of like if dialogue was voiced as alot of reading and is a easy game. But is full of cool characters all unique with loads of content with a great story, loads of options to make builds to suit your own playstyle

Easy to get lost especially when exploring dungeons would have been nice to have a map.

Controls are weird kinda clunky awkward in terms of fighting some of the bosses or doing the jumping sections.

Combat is basic and may get dull for some but has nostalgic feel.

Movement is kinda clunky especially when jumping between ledges as felt like on ice sometimes and trying wall climb is frustrating.

Camera can be in awkward places during fights/jumps especially when doing boss fights trying lock on or jump between platforms.

Overall is a fun game full of cool enemys,weapons and characters you meet are cool,funny and has alot content and is challenging in places. But camera can be annoying during combat and jumping sections and controls kinda clunky.

We have to fight if we don’t everyone we love will be taken away. Fuga: Melodies Of Steel is an RPG where you place children with own skills and characteristics at different gun turrets to fight against the enemy.

Your adventure. Your choices. Will you make sacrifices for victory? or will you seek another path? In this RPG,many choices have to be made in order to progress but taking the safest road may not always be the best option. A mysterious ancient weapon: The Taranis the giant tank shelteting the children conceals many mysteries and somehow seems to have its own will. In situations of crisis you can use the forbidden weapon SOUL CANNON powered by the sacrifice of one your children’s souls.

Story was awesome from start to finish made me feel connected to world and characters.

Enemy variety is impressive and unique all have own stats strengths weaknesses.

Loads of upgrades inside the tank such as farming,plant more and then able cook better food for better buffs.

The ability pick route letting you farm enemy’s or take easyier route.

Challenging game without being to frustrating good for all types of players to the genre.

Soul cannon is awesome as kills everything but has big cost you sacrifice one of your own party members stops you spamming it all the time.

CONS

Expeditions are simple and get repetitive as very basic,not very interesting.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9.5/10.

Overall has big price tag of £33.49. and expeditions are dull but story with multiple endings and replay ability is impressive and super fun loved the Soul Cannon but hated that had to sacrifice one of the party members to use it.

100% RECOMMENDED BUY.

Only way heal is to charge attack making you play more risky is a cool mechanic.

CONS

Difficulty may put some off as you will die lots.

The world felt empty and not alot to explore seemed be boss after boss.

Would have liked a potion/heal as only way heal is to do a charge attack which made me die alot as if get timing wrong you would get punished.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall is a fun pretty game but is very HARD even for people used to souls type games expect to die lots while working on the timing and may not be to everyones taste.
