* A powerful fantasy story inspired by the history of medieval Europe.

* A unique visual aesthetic combining hand painted 2d art with cel-shading.

* Fluid controls encouraging careful engagement and patient play.

* Combat enabling players a mix of swordplay,spells.

* Defensive options include parries,dodge rolls.

* A leveling system that helps players adjust to their desired difficulty.

PROS

Story was very interesting and kept me entertained throughout even had some surprises that liked.

Graphics very cool hand drawn cel-shaded look on world made it feel alive fun to explore.

**WORLD VERY PRETTY 2D HAND DRAWN/ CEL-SHADED**

Enemy variety is good as all look unique and require different ways to defeat them.

Bosses are all unique and require different strategies to defeat them.

Characters are interesting and very intriguing as all have own personality.

Controls are very fluid and responsive and intuitive liked how you learn new abilities changing how you explore,fight.

Alot of content map is huge and has alot of secrets to find and enjoyable to explore.

Alot of skills,spells to learn and can swap spells out to build your own playstyle and can even swap skills during boss fights just pause equip new spells.

Even when I died on bosses or found myself lost I still wanted keep going as very addictive gameplay.

CONS

Wish you could mark the map as found myself getting lost and forgetting which doors required what key.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I WOULD GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9/10

Overall has issues such as getting lost and alot of backtracking but common in Metroidvania games but the story and world is fun and enjoyable to explore and combat is very rewarding.

100% RECOMMENDED BUY THIS.

The combat is easy to understand combat is perfect for new players to the genre.

Alot of humor in game makes you laugh.

Overall this is a fun charming game with alot of humor,alot of content for the price and very welcoming to new players and everyone.

INTRODUCTION

Johnny Rocket is a 2d comic book adventure. In this game,your main goal is to help Johnny Rocket fight “Evil Forces.” To do this you can run,jump,double jump,shoot enemies. You can destroy buildings,obstacles,or enemies with your head. All levels are unique and have a big variety of enemies,with boss fights that are tough the game is hilarious and has alot of toilet humour.

FEATURES

* Hardcore Platforming.

* Black and White cartoon style.

* Unique superpower.

* A hero you would like to help.

* Hand drawn cartoon animation between levels.

* Alot of toilet humour to make you laugh.

PROS

The game is challenging in a old school difficulty way.

Graphics style is a unique 2d comic book art style.

The game has alot of humour especially as your health pick ups is toilet rolls.

There is alot of variety in enemies which is nice.

The game is good for people who like achievement hunting as relatively easy to get all the achievements.

Simplistic gameplay in terms you can move,jump,shoot enemies,nice as not need learn lots of combos,moves,abilities.

CONS

Game is very short as only 3 levels in game and has no real replay ability.

Game felt unfinished as numerous times got shot by enemies that where off screen and unable to hit them.

Gameplay to basic as other retro type games offer deeper customisation,skills,new moves, weapons.

Game felt dull and the levels not very interesting and kinda boring.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I WOULD GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 6/10

Overall had a bunch of issues that unfortunately the game was dull and while it did make me laugh it was far to short and lacking with no real replay ability.

The graphics are very good especially effects from (AOE) attacks or fire weapons.

**AOE AND FIRE ATTACKS SUPER PRETTY ON XBOX ONE X**

There is alot of customisation options in terms of look,skills,weapons,characters,colour options for characters.

The story is interesting from start to finish.

The three unique gangs all have own skills,look,abilities.

**THREE GANGS ALL HAVE UNIQUE LOOKS,ABILITIES**

The levels are very big and have multiple paths and traps to use on enemies.

**MAP IS HUGE ALOT TO EXPLORE SET TRAPS**

Game is challenging but made me want to try again even after failuring.

Liked the characters and areas where fully 3d made world feel alive and wanted to explore.

CONS

The game has no difficulty options and is not very welcoming to new players of the genre.

Had some issues such as no audio during cutscenes and some crashes aswell.

The pacing of movement made fights feel dull and way slower than other games in the genre.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I WOULD GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 7.5/10

Overall has couple issues such as performance but main issue was the pacing was alot slower than other games in the genre and no difficulty options may put some people off.

* Explore ancient ruins,mysterious caves and abandoned houses.

* Fight with magical creatures.

* Collect items and use them to solve puzzles.

* Create alchemical potions from the magic plants you find.

* Open the passageway between the worlds and find the legendary artifact!.

PROS

The game has a very nice hand drawn cell shaded art style.

All the enemies are cool looking and unique and kinda funny looking.

The story was good and kept me interested throughout until the finish.

The game is very nice and chilled not as intense as other games and is good if you want a fun easy 1k or plat.

Crafting was cool as stuff you could craft often needed to progress such as rust removal potion to unlock doors or basements and more.

**YOUR INVENTORY AND THE CRAFTING POTION SCREEN AND SOME OF PLANTS YOU FIND ON YOUR TRAVELS**

The humor was cool one part you catch a animal in a trap which gives u meat you cook on a stove then take cooked food to give to a plant to progress. They also leprechauns live in trees where you can buy stuff like health,bullets and stuff.

**LEPRECHAUN IN TREE IS BASICALLY A SHOP**

Some of the puzzles are simple but some can be challenging.

CONS

Very short game and no real replay ability.

Combat very basic as you have a sword attack and a shoot gun button.

The world felt empty as no npc,side quests.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I WOULD GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 7/10

Overall is a very fun game just short but enjoyable and if you like getting achievements or trophies then you will enjoy it as is a very easy 1k or plat.

Procedurally generated levels keeps game fresh and exciting.

The ability to charm monsters to fight for you and they all unique in looks,stats.

The enemy variety is impressive over 350 monsters.

The amount of items is huge there is 71,577 and all are unique in look,stats and which class can use them.

Has 40+ status effects to learn adding to the complexity such as regen health,thorns so every attack you take from a enemy they take damage aswell.

**SOME OF THE 40+** **STATUS EFFECTS TO ADD TO COMBAT COMPLEXITY**

The game had me playing as all characters and making multiple builds and random ? on map with multiple choice system gives great variety.

Only minor combat can be samey if you prefer melee builds or magic builds me personally I prefer melee builds so some classes where very similar.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I WOULD GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9.5/10

Overall found game offered me alot of variety that was fun and kept me coming back and even trying builds,classes that I not normally play.

All weapons,armor have a unique look and thier own stats some which you need for puzzles,exploration and some are just funny looking.

**MY MAIN ARMOR UNTIL GOT GOLD MAKES YOU SLOWER BUT BETTER HEALTH**

Variety of enemies is impressive and they all look and have own strategies required to defeat them.

**JUST SOME OF THE VARIOUS ENEMY TYPES**

The bosses are all unique all with own look and mechanics to learn in order to defeat them.

Alot of challenges on levels such as complete with taking no damage,no eating food,destroy all boxes.

The story was very interesting and kept me entertained from start to finish.

Graphics very nice and world felt alive and enjoyed exploring it.

The ability to slow time very cool as used for combat,puzzles is very unique and fun.

**THE USE OF CONTROLLING TIME VERY IMPORTANT**

Even on easy setting the game is challenging but fun the game made me want keep trying even after fail multiple times.

CONS

On normal difficulty can be frustrating as if you get killed by boss you have start from the beginning which may annoy some compared to easy where it keeps your progress.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9/10

All classes are unique in look,abilities,playstyles gives you alot of variety with the 9 different classes.

The town can be upgraded giving new options for buildings that can give you permanent upgrades to help every run.

There is 100 items to pick up on runs with different rarities and all have different stats.

Procedurally generated levels help keep game fresh and liked how layout traps and even treasure traps changed everytime.

The ability to return money and ores to town if you are lucky enough to find the cart saves you losing everything when you die.

**CART TO SEND ORES MONEY BACK TOWN SAVES YOU LOSING EVERYTHING WHEN YOU DIE**

Alot of variety of enemies and bosses are unique with thier own mechanics.

**ENEMY AND BOSS VARIETY IS BIG ALL WITH UNIQUE LOOK,MECHANICS**

Game has a very addictive gameplay as even when i died which was alot still wanted do another run.

CONS

No real story or any signs to tell you where to go at start did leave me confused.

Has a feel that you meant to fail to slowly level up the town,hero may annoy some people.

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 8/10

Has a few issues but is very fun and really addictive gameplay makes you want keep trying even when you die loads.

INTRODUCTION

Welcome aboard your airship,captain! Steam Tactics is an RPG about steampunk airships with tactical turn-based combat. Take on a role of a captain of a squad of airship pilots,acquire and upgrade new ships and weapons,level up your crew. The king is gravely ill. The queen wishes to employ your services. You are one of the most renowned mercenary tacticians in the land. Will you answer the kingdom’s call.

FEATURES

* Simple yet deep tactical combat. You dont have to wade through obscure marginal mechanics the gameplay revolves around clear core rules.

* Vast space for creative decision making. Its up to you equip your ships ,level your pilots,approach battles your own way.

* Varied progression system. Gather materials to upgrade your ship,guns, combine duplicate weapons to make more powerful versions,level up your crew.

* Suitable challenge for different skill levels.

PROS

Alot of content for your money good value as there two chapters and alot of missions each chapter all varied and with different difficulties.

Good variety of of ships all with their own unique stats where some are better than others at different stats which include elemental stats which is acid,electric,fire,and gun damage which includes machine gun,cannon,torpedo.

This is perfect for new players and experienced as you cant just rush through and difficulty is there but can always replay older levels for money,items,xp

All the characters are both unique in look,personality,and they have a very cool hand drawn look.

**ALL CHARACTERS LOOK AND ALL HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITIES**

The weapons allare very varied in look and use on battlefield kept game feeling fresh.

**ALOT OF WEAPON VARIETY MEANING ALOT DIFFERENT OPTIONS FOR YOUR SHIPS**

All characters,weapons,world feels alive and interesting even has humor which helps keep game interesting.

**YOUR MAIN HEROES ALL HAVE THEIR OWN PERSONALITY AND EVEN THE ABILITY TO RESET STATS IS FUNNY**

The ability to upgrade duplicates such as ships,weapons to make stronger versions is great gives you alot of options.

**ABILITY TO UPGRADE DUPLICATES TO MAKE THEM STRONGER**

Alot of options for builds,the different playstyle options for your ships,stats,weapons are great as you can customise alot especially liked if you have two of the same gun such as RED HOUND you attack twice and can adjust stats to improve damage with them. I liked using Red Hound, Bulldog,Steel Eel,as this meant i did electric machine gun cannon damage every attack.

Even when I failed missions made me determined to try again as simple gameplay mechanics had me hooked as not as daunting at the start of the game.

CONS

Sometimes you cant move ship as can be blocked in by enemies and sometimes you find yourself where you moving around trying get within range can be annoying to some.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 9/10

Has a minor issue of sometimes you can be stuck or chasing enemies to get them into the area of attack radius but this is very fun and great introduction to tactical games and really enjoyed it alot of variety and good value for your money.

* Ability to upgrade duplicates such as ships,weapons to make stronger versions is great gives alot of options.

INTRODUCTION

Hellpoint is a dark and challenging action RPG set in a heavily atmospheric sci-fi universe where the line is blurred between science and occultism. Once a pinnacle of human achievement the Irid Novo space station has fallen and its ruins are overrun with entities controlled by malevolent cosmic gods.

FEATURES

* Dozens of melee,ranged,armor pieces to suit your playstyle and weapons unlock abilities with use.

* Irid Novo is a massive interconnected world full of hidden passages,secrets and mysteries.

* A fascinating sci-fi universe reminiscent of classic sci-fi movies.

* If you struggle then ask a friend to help either on couch or online.

* Space station orbits a black hole in real time that triggers dynamic changes such as boss appearances,hordes,enemy stats and different locations.

PROS

Graphics are very good the world is very detailed and has a very creepy atmospheric world that feels alive and is a joy to explore.

The vast amount of weapons,armor,all look and feel different and how the weapons even have a skill that unlocks the more you use them.

There is alot of content in the game with some changes to the souls type especially regarding heals as rewards player for being more aggressive as is how you get your heals through combat.

The real time use of the orbiting black hole that changes the game is impressive as changes enemy spawn locations,stats,drops,and adds hordes all this gives the game a fresh feel.

Enemy variety is big and all are unique and different requiring there own strategies to defeat them.

The bosses are all very different and unique especially there move,fight style and strategy to defeat them.

There is alot of possible build types due vast amount of weapons,armor and alot of stats you can upgrade.

Has a very addicting gameplay as even when died alot still made me want try again and happy farm learn strategies as very rewarding when defeat bosses.

CONS

The game is challenging and multiple deaths to learn strategies may out some off that are new to souls type genre.

The camera can be annoying sometimes would make me exposed to surprise attacks.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 8/10

Overall has some issues but if you like souls type games this has a different take on couple of systems such as enemy spawning and a healing system that rewards a aggressive playstyle.

RECOMMENDED BUY VERY FUN GAME

* Vast amount of weapons,armors,all look and feel different and gain abilities with increased usage.
* Alot of content and liked how healing makes you play more aggressive to fill up health injections(heals)
* The real time use of the orbiting black hole changes  drops,boss locations, stats,enemy placement is very fresh.
* Enemy variety is big and all are unique and different with their own strategies to defeat them.
* Bosses are all unique requiring their own strategy to defeat them.
* Alot of build types you can make to suit your playstyle.
* Has a very addicting gameplay even when died which was alot made me want try again.
