A dark and not so distant future scientific breakthrough led to usage of microbe colonies as power sources in all aspects of life. Corporations that control these living batteries development and production became very weightful political powers in the world.

Enemies are cool as all have own look and all have own moves and attacks to avoid.

Story is interesting from start to finish.

Challenging difficulty keeps you on your toes.

Retro old school vibes feels like old side scrolling game.

Upgrades give you nice options to suit your own playstyle.

Cool ability that you recharge your shooting bar by using your shield is a nice system as have to switch between shield and shooting can just shoot constantly.

Easy pick up and play is good for all types of players also nice as has easy controls not loads to remember.

CONS

Very challenging as you die very often as you are squishy.

Jumping feels kinda floaty or like on ice often found myself slipping off ledges.

Can be frustrating as trying figure out how to beat puzzles/bosses especially as first boss has time limit and can be annoying trying figure out solution in time limit.

OVERALL SUMMARY

I GIVE THIS GAME A SCORE OF 7/10

Overall has cool enemies, challenging difficulty and a good story. However for £11.99, has frustrating difficulty as you die very fast and has floaty/sliding jumping and bosses/puzzles are not explained well such as first boss who has time limit to get to him and solve puzzle.
