Controls are easy to understand and very responsive.

Big nostalgia vibes with loads of collectables from music to artwork and lore from the franchise is nice if your a fan of SHADOW.

Enemies are very cool as alot of variety to them and all have own attacks to learn to avoid and all have own look to them.

Pretty levels that are detailed and all have own vibe to them.

Fast paced gameplay that gives you a good sense of speed as can move very fast and frantic.

Challenges that you need to complete for the keys required to fight bosses and clear zones are cool as all offer own challenge to them such as defeat X amount of enemies or complete the level while only having one ring.

Music is awesome as goes from retro old school sonic to metal when levels or combat goes intense and it suits the game perfectly with a very pretty art style is cool.

Can finish the levels in under 1 min which can make them feel not very special as always feeling missed out on stuff.

Confusing story as was new to the Shadow lore and was not sure what was going on.

If you are not bothered by the ranking system or trying to 100% it no reason to replay the levels again and can finish game quickly with not alot of replayability.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall the controls are easy to understand and responsive which is nice and you get big nostalgia vibes from the collectables and enemies are cool as alot of variety to them and all have own attacks to learn to beat them and all have own look to them also has a cool art style and nice music that goes from retro to metal which is cool and has fast paced gameplay and fun challenges. However for £44.99, you can finish the levels in under 1-2 mins which can make them feel not special as go to fast tp appreciate the details and found the story confusing as was new to Shadow story as never played as him before and if you are not bothered by trying to improve your ranking as in getting a S rank or trying to 100% the game there is no reason to replay the levels again.

Art style is nice and very detailed and pretty.

Overall can be daunting as alot to learn. However for £59.99, the story is interesting and the art style is pretty and detailed and the world is big and feels alive with characters that you meet all have own look and own personality to them also weapons and armor are impressive as alot of variety and all have own stats to them and difficulty options are nice as can suit everyone’s own taste and level up options are easy to understand and can make own build to suit playstyle and the Archetypes are amazing as offer own look and all have own uses and own attacks such as Brawler using health to attack and Merchant that uses money to attack and all can evolve aswell offering even more choices and so much more in this game. I LOVED THIS GAME.

INTRODUCTION

Astrea is a deckbuilding roguelike that uses dice instead of cards.

Pretty and very detailed art style.

Dice driven deckbuilding is very different instead of using cards like alot of deckbuilding games.

Choices are cool as offer different rewards and alot of options to customize runs and is nice as can skip them if don’t wanna risk using them.

Characters that you can use and unlock are cool as all have own look and own decks and stats and own feel to them to suit own playstyle.

Build options are great as so much choice to suit own playstyle and can swap around dice to make safe only or risky dice that do more damage but might hurt you.

Can be challenging and easy to fail.

Deck building options can be daunting as alot of choices.

Felt a bit samey and bit repetitive.

Dice deciding your fate meaning that sometimes you feel as RNG dooms you to fail the run.

OVERALL SUMMARY
Overall enemies all have own look and own attacks to learn in order to beat them with pretty art style and nice dice driven deckbuilding instead of using cards with alot of choices to change rewards and the characters you can use all have own look and stats with own decks and feel and tons of build options to suit your own style. However for £18,99, can be challenging as easy to fail and the deck building can be daunting as so many options to make own build and feels samey and abit repetitive and RNG on dice means sometimes you feel like you are doomed to fail the run.

Weapons, Armor all have own look and own look and all have own stats and feel to them such as poison immunity items good for exploring forests where you get poison attacks.

Summons are cool as all have own look and stats to them such as attacks or heals for you and your party and great as can do more damage such as if they ice based and you use fire element you will deal more damage.

Worlds are fun to explore and feel alive and detailed.

Combat is fun and easy to understand not to complex is nice.

Art style is nice and detailed and pretty.

Crafting is cool as can make gear and potions and much more.

Easy to understand and pick up is nice as not to complex for everyone.

Puzzles can be annoying and some quests can be confusing.

OVERALL SUMMARY

Overall puzzles can be annoying but can be skipped but wont gain any items or loot might have found and some of the quests can be confusing. However for £14,99, the story is interesting and the worlds are fun to explore and feel alive and the characters you meet all have own look and own personality to them with nice art style that is detailed and nice and has weapons, armor that all have own stats, look, feel and nice combat style, summons all have own look, uses, stats and crafting is cool as can make potions and gear and more. LOVED THE GAME.

I RECOMMEND THIS GAME.
